In this brief interview, Anja is telling about her Giffoni impressions.
1. What was your greatest motive to apply for Giffoni?
My passion for the film, acting and directing are the main reasons that made me apply to Giffoni Experience considering that these are the fields in which I would like to form and upgrade my education in the future. Giffoni helped me in way that gave me the possibility to meet actors and directors who giving their answers enriched my knowledge for this area. Still, among the other reasons for my applying is also my sister, who went to Giffoni two years ago and hearing about her experience, made my wish to apply even stronger.
2. What was your first idea for this festival?
Listening to my sister I imagined this place full of children’s laughter, a place where so
many new friendships are born, friendships that will last forever, where you are given the possibility to meet famous people such as Nicolas Cage and Richard Gere and mainly, place where you see various number of different movies.
3. Choose three words that will describe your Giffoni Experience
Exciting, magical and an unforgettable experience.
4. Tell us your message for the next participants
My message for them is that with the activity of the debates and making new friendships, they will definitely leave a strong impression for their country and for themselves.

For this and other Giffoni moments she briefly talks in this interview.
I had big expectations from the Giffoni Film Festival, I expected good vibes, good films, opportunity to meet famous people etc.
2. Which moment of the festival left the biggest impression o
The biggest impression was the meeting with Dylan O’Brien and the opportunity to talk to him. I’m really happy that I had that opportunity and I thank Giffoni for making my dream come true.
3. Is there and what is the difference between Giffoni Italy and Giffoni Macedonia and how can you define their uniqueness?
Giffoni Italy and Giffoni Macedonia have their differences and similarities, and most important they have the same goal and they give opportunity to the young people to watch new kind of movies and to express their opinion.
4. What would be your message for the future participants?
My message for the next participants is not to be ashamed to share their opinion and feelings and to beli
eve in themselves.
Bisera Samardzieva, student in ‘’Orce Nikolov’’ high school, this year took part of the Macedonian jury at the most famous festival for young people, Giffoni Experience. She was in the category of +13 along with three more participants from Macedonia and hundreds of other participants from all over the world. Here she gives interesting answers on our questions.
1. Why Giffoni is more than a festival?
Giffoni can never be just a festival. For 10 days while you’re there, you get close with the kids around you more than you can imagine. One group of kids in one week becomes more than a family to you… There, you are free to express your opinion without any boundaries. You make new friendships at Giffoni. There, even your desires for meeting talents and famous actors come true. You can campare Giffoni with everything, even magic.
2. What was your greatest motivation to apply for the Giffoni experience?
I was always passionate about films and the opportunity to express my opinion about a film in front of other kids was something that you cannot miss.
3. If and how much Giffoni contributed to the maturing of your personality?
I believe that, yes, Giffoni contributed for me to mature. I think that after Giffoni it’s easier for me to approach someone and start a conversation. At Giffoni nobody gave a problem if you approach them and start a conversation, nobody finds it weird.
4. What would be your message for the next participants?
Be totally relaxed there, don’t be ashamed and don’t think that anybody will criticize you for your opinions. Make as many friendships as you can, and as I mentioned above, you can freely approach anybody and start a conversation ( If you don’t like the conversation or you have troubles with it, you can just walk away with the chance never to see that person again)
5. What are the differences between Giffoni Italy and Giffoni Macedonia and what is their uniqueness?
According to me, Giffoni Italy is much more euphoric. Maybe it’s because there are more kids, or the organization, but there something different in the air. Giffoni Macedonia is somehow the calmer version. Probably Giffoni Italy is more special because you’re surrounded with Italians and their mentality is much more different than ours. Here, somehow, everybody know themselves and is a bit harder to make new friendships. But still, it is an honor that Giffoni Macedonia exists.
